An explosion took place in a firecracker factory in Shikohabad, Firozabad. Due to the blast, many nearby houses collapsed. It is feared that many people have been buried under the debris of the collapsed houses. It is being told that the accident took place in Naushera village at around 10 o’clock. After the accident, the police reached the spot.

Three people including a woman died. JCB machines have started removing other injured people buried under the rubble. Cracks appeared in the walls of many houses. Walls of three nearby houses collapsed. Cracks appeared in the walls of other houses. Mira Devi (52) resident of Naushera, Sanjana, Deepak and Rakesh of a family who made wooden beds inside a house located at a short distance from the incident site were injured. They were taken to the Joint Hospital for treatment. Where Mira Devi died during treatment. Pankaj (24) resident of Naushera and another person died. While others are undergoing treatment. The search for other injured is going on.
On receiving the information, CO Praveen Kumar Tiwari, Inspector Pradeep Kumar and other police forces reached the spot in large numbers. The police has started rescue work. The fire brigade team has also reached the spot for rescue work.
