The heritage walk was conducted by retired IFS Mohammad Ahsan. He gave detailed information on the historical background of Dilkusha Kothi. Mohammad Ahsan told that Dilkusha Kothi was built by Saadat Ali Khan and it was designed by Gore Osley in Palladian style.

The building witnessed many important events during the 1857 revolt and became the centre of the new cantonment in the 1860s. However, its condition deteriorated over time and now it is a beautiful sight of greenery and butterflies.

Thoughts shared on Dilkusha Kothi During this walk, retired IRTS AK Srivastava also shared his views on the historical aspects of Dilkusha Kothi. He told that Dilkusha Kothi was built by Ghazi ud Din Haider for his English wife, Sultan Maryam Begum.

The walk was attended by Iffat Khan, Founder of Aadab Arz Lucknow along with many members like Rekha Kumar, Ajesh Jaiswal, Imrana Azmat, Neha Praveen, Roshan Singh, Manish Saxena, Aamir Raza and Srivastava.
