In Bahraich’s Mahsi tehsil, the wolf attacks are not stopping. Late on Monday night, a wolf attacked a goat in Sisayya Churamani village and carried it away. The forest department team which was combing some distance reached the spot. Local MLA Sureshwar Singh was also present at the spot.

DFO Ajit Singh said, “Due to it being night, we could not catch the wolf…we tried our best but the wolf managed to escape…we will catch him soon. The wolf had taken away a goat. Due to it being night, he could not be caught. The search operation is going on.
Let us tell you that since July, 10 people have died in wolf attacks. Around fifty people have been injured. The forest department team has caught five wolves so far. But despite that, the attacks are not stopping. There is one more wolf present in the area. Which is constantly attacking people and cattle.
