Brothers stopped construction of toilet, attacked woman
Asma Bano, a resident of Karamdaspur village, was getting a toilet constructed in front of her house when her brothers Idris and Ghulam arrived with other family members and stopped the work. The dispute escalated when Asma Bano asked the reason. It is alleged that Idris and Ghulam attacked Asma Bano (50) and her daughter Momina Bano (28) with sticks. Momina sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Even after the application, the police did not listen to the complaint
Injured Asma Bano filed a complaint by submitting an application to the police station on the same day, but no hearing took place. Finally, Asma Bano reached the Superintendent of Police office and pleaded for justice. After this, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, on September 14, the police of Gaurabadshahpur police station registered a case against Asma Bano’s brothers Idris and Ghulam on her complaint.
Police station in-charge said- it is a matter of land dispute
Gaurabadshahpur police station in-charge Rajaram Dwivedi said that this is a case of land dispute. On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against Idris and Ghulam and investigation is being done.
