Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday was celebrated with great pomp in Lucknow. Traders in Hazratganj celebrated September 17 as “Shri Anna Diwas” and distributed 7400 packets of jowar, bajra, ragi and maize flour to the people at Darul Safa with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.

General Secretary of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal, Gyanesh Mishra said that today we are celebrating the birthday of our Prime Minister. PM Modi’s birthday is a day of pride for all of us. We also got the inspiration to distribute ration on this day from the Prime Minister. Ration is distributed across the country by the central government. Prime Minister Modi constantly gives the message of providing ration to the general public in his speeches. Adopting this message, coarse grains were distributed among the needy today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always worked for the welfare of the general public. Today, all the business associates have pledged that we will provide ration to every needy. It is the social responsibility of all of us to cooperate in the work of the government. To make the society better, our responsibility also increases along with the government. The Vyapar Mandal is trying to discharge its responsibilities.

Gyanesh Mishra said that apart from distribution of ration, many welfare schemes were started by the Prime Minister. Under the Swachhata Abhiyan, PM Modi connected the common man with cleanliness by making him aware. By starting the Ujjwala Yojana, the lives of mothers and sisters were made easier. For those who struggle for water, water was delivered to the doorstep of every person under the Har Ghar Nal Yojana. Our only effort is to cooperate a little in the work of the government. It is the responsibility of the whole society to identify such people around them who are in need. Today, we have taken a pledge that every effort will be made to provide ration and other facilities to the common man.
