The Mainpuri police administration has come into alert mode after a youth drowned during Ganesh immersion in the Ishan river located in the Kotwali area of Mainpuri on Monday evening. The police administration has identified the place where Ganesh immersion will be done and has made security arrangements there.

Area Magistrate Karhal Santosh Kumar Singh has taken the command of security arrangements in his hands by directing all the police stations of his circle.
They are inspecting all the places where Ganesh immersion is to be done. Police force is being deployed there for the safety of the public. Also, they are appealing to the people to be cautious of accidents. Security is being strengthened by arranging boats, ropes etc. at the identified places.
Strict arrangements are being made after inspection
After the incident that took place in the Kotwali area of Mainpuri on Monday, Mainpuri SP Vinod Kumar Singh has directed all police station in-charges to deploy police force at the designated places for Ganesh immersion in their respective police station areas.
People should not be allowed to go into deep water during Ganesh idol immersion. For this, all the area officers are making strict arrangements by visiting their respective areas and inspecting the Ganesh immersion sites. The general public is praising Mainpuri Police for the strong arrangements being made by the police administration.
