The police have been continuously patrolling their areas since morning.
In Aligarh, Ganesh idols are being immersed with great pomp on Tuesday on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Devotees are carrying idols of Lord Ganesha from various places in the city and immersing them. Due to which the route has been diverted.

SP Traffic said that Ganesh immersion program has started from Tuesday morning. Due to which route diversion is in effect. This diversion will continue till late evening, until the immersion is completed. The diversion and no-entry system will end after 8 pm.
The arrangement will be like this
,All heavy vehicles/roadways buses and private buses coming from Atrauli to Aligarh city via Ramghat Road will be restricted from Avantibai Chauraha Atrauli. These vehicles will be diverted from Avantibai Chauraha Atrauli and will go to their respective destinations.
-All types of heavy vehicles/roadways/private buses coming from Gangiri, Chharra towards Avantibai Chauraha Atrauli will be restricted from Chharra Chauraha. These vehicles will be diverted from Chharra Chauraha and will be able to go to their respective destinations
,All types of heavy vehicles/roadways/private buses coming from Dibai Chhatari towards Avantibai Chauraha Atrauli will be restricted from Chhatari Mor. These vehicles will be diverted from Chhatari Mor (District Bulandshahr) and will be able to go to their respective destinations.
,All types of heavy vehicles/roadways/private buses coming from Maheshpur Tiraha towards Quarsi Square will be restricted from Maheshpur Tiraha. These vehicles will be diverted from Maheshpur Tiraha and will be able to go to their respective destinations.
,All types of heavy vehicles/private buses coming from Delhi, Khurja/Gabhana and Kanpur/Etah towards Aligarh city will be prohibited from entering the city from Bhakri/Maharwal Cut/Khaireshwar Chauraha/Agra Changer/Mathura Changer and Boner Tiraha. These vehicles will be able to go to their respective destinations via highway bypass GT Road.
,All types of heavy vehicles/roadways buses coming towards the city from Sarasol crossing will be restricted. These vehicles will be diverted from Sarasol crossing and will be able to go to their respective destinations.
,Entry of all types of heavy vehicles, roadways/private buses coming from Mathura/Iglas towards Aligarh city will be restricted from Mathura Changer. These vehicles will be diverted from Mathura Changer to GT Road Highway Bypass and will go to their respective destinations.
,Entry of all types of heavy vehicles/roadways/private buses coming from Agra towards Aligarh city/Sasnigate crossing will be restricted from Agra changer. These vehicles will be diverted from Agra changer to GT Road bypass highway and will go to their respective destinations.
Note:-
(1)-Inspector in-charge Godha was instructed to coordinate with SSO Chhatari (District Bulandshahr) at his level and ensure diversion of heavy vehicles from Chhatari mode.
(2)- All vehicles related to ambulance and other emergency services will be free from the above restrictions.
(3)- The diversion time can be changed as per requirement.
