In Hapur, a father was beaten to death by his son. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem and started investigating the case. The incident took place in village Kandoula of Kotwali Pilkhuwa area.

According to the information, Muniraj Tyagi was a farmer. According to the police, he was having a land dispute with his only son Kapil. Due to this, the farmer transferred his ten bigha land in the name of his two married daughters. Late on Wednesday evening, there was a scuffle between the two. After some time, his body was found lying there. The daughter-in-law had informed the police about the death of her father-in-law under suspicious circumstances. After this, the police and forensic team reached the spot and investigated the scene. But the son absconded after getting the opportunity. The police have found injury marks on the body and neck of the deceased.
ASP Vineet Bhatnagar said that the body has been sent for postmortem. The cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes. It was a case of land dispute between father and son.
