While laying the lintel in Badaun, the iron rod touched the HT line passing overhead. One youth died in the accident. While two got burnt. Both are being treated in a private hospital. The police have taken the bodies into custody.

The accident happened in Bhojpur village of Faizganj Behta police station area. Construction work is going on in the temple here. Lintel was being laid here on Tuesday. Many people of the village were working there as sevadaars. Among them Arun Kumar, Shiva and Sandeep of the village were lifting iron rods from below and working on them upwards. Meanwhile, while lifting the iron rods upwards, they touched the high tension line passing near the temple. As a result, all three got severely burnt after coming in contact with the current running in the iron rods.
There was chaos in the village After this accident, there was chaos in the entire village. Immediately, the power supply was cut off by informing the power station. All three were taken to the hospital. Here the doctor declared Arun dead. While the other two injured have been referred to a higher center.
