A supervisor died after being crushed under a pile of cardboard in a paper mill in Meerut. An employee is badly injured. The deceased supervisor Maruf was working in this paper mill for 12 years. The sudden accident on Wednesday created a stir in the mill. A worker was also injured in the accident.

A supervisor died after getting crushed under a pile of cardboard in a paper mill located in Ganganagar police station area of Meerut. Supervisor Maruf had been working here for 12 years. The supervisor died after getting crushed under a pile of cardboard in a paper mill located in Saini village on NH-34 at 7 am on Wednesday. A laborer was injured. After the incident, the family members have refused to file any complaint. Suddenly, I came under the cardboard bundles Maruf (29) son of late Mazhar Rizvi, a resident of Mahal village of Inchauli police station area, was working in a paper mill located in Saini village on NH-34 for about 12 years. According to family members, he reported for duty at 6 am on Wednesday. At around 7 am, he was getting the bundles of cardboard removed by a loader. During that time, a pile of cardboard fell on Maruf. He got buried under it. Ajay, son of Chaman, resident of Kaserubaksar, also came under the grip of the pile.
The doctors declared him dead The people around took Maruf out after a lot of effort. At around 8:30, both of them were admitted to Amrit Healthcare Center in Ganganagar N Block by the hospital in an ambulance. Where the doctor declared him dead. The injured Ajay was treated. On receiving the information, SI Vijay Shukla and four other policemen from Inchauli police station reached the hospital and gathered information.
8 month old girl lost her father Maruf’s family consists of his mother Nishar, a brother Mohtsim and three sisters Shaba, Nida and Ajmi. Two of them are married. Maruf was married to Sofia about two years ago. They have an eight-month-old daughter Maryam. On getting information about the incident, family members and a large number of villagers reached the hospital.
