Five people died in different accidents in Kanpur within 24 hours. Some died after coming under a truck, some after getting electrocuted or some after falling. Five people died in different accidents like this. After investigation, the police of the concerned police station sent the body to the post mortem.

Laborer sleeping on the sidewalk was crushed to death
Rajesh (22), originally from Agra, was a labourer. He had come to work at the Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation office in Kalyanpur with his uncle Shyamveer and brothers-in-law Ganga Singh and Uday Singh. His uncle Shyamveer said that Rajesh was sleeping in the RCC block built in the campus late at night, when a truck entered the campus at three o’clock. While turning, it crushed Rajesh, killing him on the spot.
Tent house worker dies due to collapse
Kallu alias Pradeep (22), a resident of Nawabganj Jyora cemetery slum, was injured after falling from a horse cart while removing a tent for Ganesh festival on Wednesday. His brothers Sunny and Shanu admitted him to Hallett Hospital, where he died due to serious head injuries during treatment.
A young man died due to collision with a van and electrocution
45-year-old Krishna Bairagi, a resident of Bengali Colony of Sachendi, used to sing bhajans. On Thursday morning, a speeding van hit him near Sagar Dhaba. He died due to this. Hearing the news of the husband’s death, wife Anju and mother Ranjita were inconsolable. On the other hand, Ashok Kushwaha, a resident of Kathra in Bidhanu, had a 19-year-old only son Shivam who ran a mobile shop. The family consists of mother Rama and three sisters. The relatives allege that a person from the village took their son away. After this, they brought him in a van and told that he died due to electric shock. The relatives were inconsolable due to the death of their only son. The police have said that action will be taken on the basis of the post-mortem report.

Whereas 38-year-old Wasif Khan, originally a resident of Mordannaka East Bhoj in Banda district, worked in a hospital in Kakadev. Uncle Anees said that he died after being hit by a bus in Rawatpur. Kakadev police informed the relatives.
