A delegation of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal led by state president Sanjay Gupta met Urban Development Minister AK Sharma. During this, the Vyapar Mandal demanded the implementation of the Transit Oriented Development Scheme by the Housing Development Department.

Sanjay Gupta told the minister that the Uttar Pradesh government has implemented the TOD scheme within 500 meters of the metro line but it has not been implemented in the capital yet. However, the Lucknow Development Authority has successfully implemented it. He emphasized that due to non-implementation of this scheme, the business class of the capital is not getting benefits.
Sanjay Gupta gave a letter to the Urban Development Minister and requested that the officials of the Housing Development Department be instructed to implement the TOD scheme in the capital. He said that with the implementation of this scheme, not only will the department get revenue but Lucknow will also develop rapidly.
The delegation included Vice President Pawan Jaiswal, Pushkar Jaiswal, Akash, Ramesh Kesarwani, Rajendra Kesarwani, Bhola, Sanjay Singh, Rajesh Kesari, Kamlesh, Vishnu, Shashwat and Ashok Tiwari along with other members.
