The businessman was outside the house when the goons arrived The case is of Ramganj market in Ramganj police station area. Here on Ayodhya-Prayagraj highway, wholesale grocery merchant Khemchandra Agrahari’s shop is located. His house is on the other side of the highway opposite the shop. At around 8:15 in the evening, Khemchandra was closing his shop and going home. He had a bag full of money in his hand. As soon as he reached the gate, the miscreants tried to snatch his bag by showing a pistol.

The miscreants fired at the businessman with this same pistol.

Khemchandra protested by making noise. Then one of the miscreants fired, but it missed. Hearing the sound of firing, people nearby ran. Businessman Khemchandra showed courage and caught one of the miscreants. Seeing this, two other miscreants fled on a bike. CCTV of the incident has also come, in which some people are seen running after the attacking miscreant. The miscreant falls while running. Then people catch him. A crowd gathers. The miscreants are beaten up.

The traders informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and investigated. The police has brought the arrested miscreant to Ramganj Police Station.

The people around caught one of the miscreants and beat him up badly.

A miscreant from Basti was caught The arrested criminal told his name as Aditya Singh. He is a resident of Basti. He told that both the criminals who escaped are residents of Vinobapuri, Sultanpur.

The rogue Aditya has been made to sit in the Ramganj police post. In the video, it can be seen that he is sitting on the ground inside the police post. People are beating him while interrogating him. They are slapping him.

Ramganj Inspector-in-Charge Ajayendra Patel said- The miscreants attacked the businessman to threaten him. One miscreant has been caught. The police is conducting raids to catch the absconding miscreants. Both will be arrested soon.
