A teenage girl was teased while walking in the middle of the road

A riot was averted in Mundali village of Meerut on Thursday. Here two communities came face to face. People of Hindu community told the police that boys of another community in the village cast an evil eye on a girl of their community. The minor girl was going to collect cow dung. Then the accused sat on a cot in the middle of the road. First they blocked the way of the teenager. When she did not agree, they touched her indecently.

Fearing the accused, the girl somehow ran away to her home. After coming home, the girl told the whole incident to her family. The family met the family of the accused and protested against the incident. They said that they will inform the police. After a while, some boys came in a car along with the accused. They beat the girl’s brother and the family members badly with sticks.

The family alleges that those boys entered the house, molested the girl, touched her inappropriately and picked her up and started taking her away in the car. Somehow the people of the house raised an alarm and called the neighbours. On this, the accused beat up everyone and ran away. While leaving, the accused threatened the victim’s family that if they tell the police, the consequences will be bad. You will be killed.

After such a big incident happened with the people of Hindu community in the village, Hindu organizations came forward. The people of Hindu organization created a ruckus at Mundali police station and sat on a dharna there.

The victim’s family alleges that they have informed the police about the entire matter. They have also given the names of the accused but the police is not registering a case and arresting them. Meanwhile, the Mundali police station in-charge says that the matter is being investigated. A case is being registered.
