Many customers are being duped when they order goods through online shopping. A person in Prayagraj ordered a hair trimmer through online shopping. The package that the delivery boy gave him had fringes in it. After this, the customer called and returned the goods.

Know what is the whole matter Sonu, a resident of Kathula Gauspur of Airport police station area, booked a hair trimmer online from his mobile. The price was Rs 203. On September 6, the delivery boy left after delivering the packet. On opening the packet, instead of the hair trimmer, a decorative fringe was found in it. Sonu called the delivery boy and returned the goods.

He said that the money will be credited to the account in 3 hours. When the money was not returned even after three days, on September 10 he called the company’s customer care number and complained. The person on customer care told his name as Manish Kumar Mishra. He gave another number and asked to call on this number. He was asked to call on the WhatsApp number. When the youth contacted that number, he was asked about the first 6 digits of the phone, email ID, SIM activated with Aadhar card. After getting the bank account details, Rs. 1,91989 were deducted from Sonu’s account in three times. Sonu reached the bank the next day and got his account frozen. After this, a report was filed at the cyber cell.
