After conducting interrogation and legal proceedings, the CBI team took out the employees from the bank at around 8:45 pm. After this, it left for Lucknow with the arrested bank manager and peon. The team came from Lucknow under the leadership of CBI DSP Amit Rathi.

Let us tell you what the whole matter is

Manish Gupta, son of Ram Bharosa Gupta, a resident of Lagada village of Bariyarpur police station area, was making rounds of the bank for several days to get a loan. When he met the bank peon, he said that if he gave him Rs. 3,500, he would talk to the bank manager and get the loan approved immediately. After this, Manish Gupta contacted the CBI. After this, the CBI reached outside the Baroda UP Bank branch Rampur Awasthi Dhuswa on Friday. The peon was given Rs. 3500 and sent inside the bank.

As soon as he reached the bank, Manish Gupta started giving 3500 rupees to peon Anup. Meanwhile, the CBI team reached the bank and caught Anup taking money. They took out more than 20 account holders present in the bank and closed the gate from inside. They came out at 8:45 pm after interrogating the bank employees. After this, they took Baroda UP Bank manager Prince Jaiswal and Anup with them.

The CBI dropped the complainant Manish Gupta at his village. During the raid, the bank’s regional manager Dharamveer and Bariyarpur police station in-charge Dr. Mahendra Kumar were present with the police force. DSP Amit Rathi, who is leading the CBI team, said that the peon has been arrested while taking bribe at the behest of the bank manager. Action will be taken against both of them.
