The auspicious programs of Janakpuri Mahotsav in Agra will begin with the Haldi and Mehndi ceremony from the 27th. The marriage of Tulsi-Saligram will be solemnized with due rituals at Shri Krishna Gaushala, Shahganj. After this, Swaroop will visit Mithilanagari in the evening. Gaurav Rajawat, Hemant Bhojwani, Rahul Chaturvedi, Anurag Upadhyay, Munendra Jadoun, Nishant Chaturvedi, Pramod Singh, Rahul Sagar, Manoj Verma, Sachin Garg, Sanjay Agarwal, Dilip Khandelwal, Satish Sharma, Vivek Sharma, Saurabh Verma etc. were present.
51 welcome gates will be built 51 welcome gates are being prepared for the devotees coming to the Janakpuri Mahotsav being organized in Shahganj area. Each welcome gate will be named after the characters of Ramayana. Out of these, seven gates will have LEDs. Live telecast of Janaka Mahal will be done on these gates.
These programs will be – 26 September: King Janak’s invitation tour for Siyaram’s marriage, from 4 pm. – 27 September: Haldi and Ladies Music, from 12 pm to 3 pm at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan Loha Mandi. – 28 September: Gaura Poojan, Sita ji’s Dola, from 4 pm. – 29 September: Arrival of Baraat and welcome: Shaligram marriage with Tulsi, 1 pm, 5 pm, Shri Ram’s tour of Mithila city with his four brothers and King Dashrath. – 30 September: Lord Shri Ram’s city tour, from 5 pm. – 1 October: City tour of the forms including Mother Sita and Shri Ram. Farewell at 10 pm. – 2 October: Cultural program and felicitation ceremony, from 7 pm on Janak Manch.
