A case has been registered against Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Sigra police station in Varanasi. Police have registered the case on the complaint of BJP Metropolitan Vice President. BJP leaders have accused Rahul Gandhi of making anti-Sikh statements abroad.

BJP District President and MLC Hansraj Vishwakarma and Metropolitan President Vidyasagar Rai along with other leaders who reached Sigra police station had protested against Rahul Gandhi. Along with the complaint, they also gave the video and details of Rahul Gandhi’s statement to the police, on the basis of which the police have registered a case under Section 152 of the BNS.
BJP Metropolitan Vice President Ashok Kumar, who filed the complaint, said- Rahul Gandhi, who is a Congress leader and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, during his recent visit to America, said- ‘People of the Sikh community in India cannot wear the holy Kada. They cannot wear a turban. Apart from this, they cannot even go to the Gurudwara. We have to fight for this and this is for all religions. This has caused anger in the Sikh community.
He alleged that Rahul Gandhi has said that if our government comes, we will end reservation. By saying this, Rahul Gandhi has hurt the feelings of all the backward communities and people of the country, including me. My feelings have also been hurt. He has worked to incite Dalit feelings. This has endangered the unity and integrity of the country.
BJP District President MLC Hansraj Vishwakarma said that the anti-national statements made by the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the US are wrong. He went there and said that the Election Commission of India is under the BJP while the elections are being held according to the Constitution. We demand not only a case but strict action against Rahul Gandhi.
