Demonstration by placing dead body on highway The family members have blocked the Gonda-Ayodhya highway for 1 hour by keeping Lal Babu Yadav’s body on the highway, due to which there is a queue of vehicles on the highway. The family is demanding to call the SP of Gonda on the spot. They say that until a case is registered against the accused and action is not taken, they will not perform the last rites.

SP leaders are also on strike Samajwadi Party leader and former candidate Suraj Singh has also sat on a dharna along with the family members. He accused the administration that the police is trying to save the accused. The family members are continuously demanding justice, but the police is showing laxity in taking action.

Argument between Kotwal and family members As soon as the information about the incident was received, the rural police chief Devendra Kumar Srivastava reached the spot and tried to convince the family members, but the family members were not ready to listen. During the persuasion, there was a heated argument between the police chief and the family members.

Wife’s serious allegation – tampering with medical report Geeta Devi, wife of the deceased Lal Babu Yadav, made serious allegations against the police and said that the medical report has been tampered with. She said that the police is working to save the accused and until the police does not take action, she will not perform the last rites of her husband.
