A grand art, craft and puppetry competition was organized in the new auditorium hall of the District Education and Training Institute located in Sakaldiha, Chandauli. Teachers of council schools participated enthusiastically in this competition. The program was inaugurated

Principal Vikayal Bharti said, “The participants have displayed their learning expressions through art, craft and puppetry, which shows their creativity and imaginativeness.” He said that arts play an important role in the field of education, because children’s learning process is faster and more permanent with the help of pictorial content.
Many participants attended
Competition in-charge and nodal Dr. Manju Kumari said that the objective of this competition is to create awareness about the importance and utility of art, craft and puppetry in teaching. The participants prepared art, craft and puppets in the categories of language, mathematics, science and social science and gave presentations on their utility in teaching.
The program was evaluated by the members of the jury constituted at the DIET level, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Mohd. Azhar Saeed and Shri Harivansh Yadav. On this occasion, many dignitaries including DIET spokesperson Jayant Kumar Yadav, Devendra Kumar, Bijendra Bharti were present.
