Chief Development Officer of Kanpur Dehat Lakshmi N. today conducted a surprise inspection of the newly built medical college in Kumbhi of Tehsil Akbarpur. During this, she inspected various premises of the college, including academic building, conference hall, hostel and lab.

During the inspection, the Chief Development Officer gave strict instructions to the implementing agency to develop the medical college campus as a green campus. He said – It is very important to make all the necessary arrangements for the start of the academic session. Along with this, he instructed the Principal of the college to ensure strict compliance of all the guidelines issued by the government.
The officials of the implementing agency said that all the main buildings of the college have been completed and the remaining work will also be completed soon. The CDO stressed on completing the pending preparations soon. He described the newly built medical college as an important milestone for Kanpur Dehat. He said that after the construction of this college, the people of the area will get the benefit of better health services. During the inspection, the Principal of the Medical College, PWD officials and other concerned officials were also present.
