In Lucknow, a young man was duped of Rs 44,484 in the name of help. The young man’s card got stuck in the ATM machine, the guard gave him a number for help. The young man called and during the conversation, a message came that money had been withdrawn from his account in 6 installments.

On discovering the fraud, the youth immediately informed the bank branch and the cyber cell. The police have registered a report and are investigating the matter. The incident took place on September 16.
Sunil Kumar, a resident of Singar Nagar, went to the ATM of a private bank to withdraw money from his State Bank of India account. The card got stuck in the machine. After which he sought help from the guard present there.
The guard gave a phone number. Sunil called on that number. During the conversation, a total of Rs 44,484 was withdrawn from his account in 6 installments.
