Despite police patrolling in Sitapur, thieves stole diesel from two trucks parked on the roadside. The thieves broke the lid of the diesel tank and stole a huge quantity of diesel and fled from the spot. When the truck driver woke up in the morning, he found the lid of the diesel tank broken.

The case is from Sandana police station area. Diesel thieves gang is active here. According to the information, after a young man died due to a truck collision on Saturday evening, the police took the truck number UP 32 PN 8278 in their possession and parked it at the weighbridge in the town for supervision.

Soldiers and home guards were deployed for security

It is said that Constable Talib and a home guard were also put on patrol duty to watch the trucks. Despite this, the gang of thieves stole diesel by opening the tanks at different places from two trucks.

The second incident is also from police station Sandana area. The driver of truck number UP 82 T 22 29, which had come to Sandana with pipes from another state, said that the labourers were not able to unload the pipes completely at night, so he parked the truck in front of the shop and slept. In the morning, when the truck driver saw, his diesel tank was open and all the diesel had been stolen.

CCTV camera found faulty

The truck driver said that when the CCTV camera installed in front of the godown was checked, it was also found to be faulty and the matter was reported to the police. After receiving the information about the diesel theft from the trucks, Dial 112 investigated and informed the police station about the matter. Police say that the matter is being investigated.
