A two-year-old innocent child playing outside his house in Gulripurva village of Kotwali Nighasan area died after drowning in flood water. This created panic among the family members. The family informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem.

According to the information received, two-year-old son Nitin of Nagulripurva resident Neeraj Kumar was playing outside the house on Saturday evening. There was flood water outside the house. During this time, he drowned in the flood water while playing. When Nitin was not seen in the house for several hours, a search was conducted. During the search, Nitin’s body was found floating in the flood water outside the house. As soon as Nitin’s body was found, there was a lot of screaming and crying. The police arrived on the information of the family and took the dead body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. After Nitin’s death, the family is in a bad condition, crying.

Deputy District Magistrate Nighasan Rajiv Nigam said that there is a case of a child’s death due to drowning in water filled outside the village in Guleri Purva. Revenue teams have been sent. The child’s postmortem is being done.
