In fact, on the basis of confidential information, the police was checking for a wanted and rewarded criminal under the Gangster Act near the GIP Cut Expressway under the Sector-39 police station area. Then a person riding a white scooty was seen coming from Delhi. When he was signaled to stop, he did not stop and started running fast towards Greater Noida on the expressway.
Committing incidents of theft in homes
When the police team chased him, the scooty rider turned and entered the Botanical Garden Green Belt. In a hurry, the scooty slipped and he fell. He fired at the police team with the intention to kill. In the retaliatory action taken by the police team, the scooty got shot in the leg and was injured. The injured scoundrel has been identified as Ajay alias Ramnivas resident Panch Kila Uttarakhand, Part Second Nathu Pura, Burari Delhi. He is wanted under Gangster Act from Police Station Sector-39. A reward of 25,000 has been declared on him. The accused and his gang members commit incidents of theft in houses.
Additional DCP Manish Kumar Mishra said that an illegal pistol, a live cartridge and an empty cartridge and a white colored scooty stolen from Delhi used in the crime have been recovered from the possession of the accused. At present, information about the criminal history of the miscreant is being collected.
