The havoc of high speed was seen in Sitapur. Here a high speed truck hit a cyclist going on the road. In this tragic accident, the middle aged cyclist died. After getting the information of the accident, the local people present on the spot caught the vehicle, while the truck fled away.

The incident is from Sandana police station area. The death of a middle aged person in a road accident here created a lot of commotion. According to the information, Rajaram (55) son of Surji, a resident of village Jamalpur, was going to Sandana market on a bicycle. It is said that at this time a speeding truck number UP 32 PN 8278 coming from behind hit the bicycle hard.

Due to the collision with the truck, cyclist Rajaram fell on the road and got seriously injured with a deep head injury. Local people sent him to Sidhauli CHC for treatment with the help of an ambulance. Where the doctors declared him dead. After the incident, the local people blocked the road and stopped the truck, but after the incident the truck driver fled from the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the truck in their possession and sent the body to the district headquarters for postmortem.

Inspector in-charge Chandrabhan Yadav said that the truck has been taken into custody. Based on the preparations of the family, a case will be filed and further legal action will be taken.
