The Varanasi-Bahraich Intercity Express train going from Varanasi to Bahraich via Gonda has been canceled for 13 days from September 22. The railways has canceled the train in view of the non-interlocking work started today at Shahganj junction of Lucknow division.

Apart from this train, 9 trains have been cancelled for different periods. The routes of 4 trains have been changed.

Interlocking work started of Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari of Northern Railway Lucknow Division said that non-interlocking work at Shahganj Junction of the division and yard remodeling work on Barabanki-Ayodhya, Ayodhya Cantt-Akbarpur-Jafarabad section will be done from October 2 to 5. In such a situation, the railway has canceled 10 trains. The route of two trains will be changed and run for 14 days.

These trains were canceled From 25 September to 3 October – Train number 14017/14018 Sadbhavna Express (via Ayodhya Cantonment), 14213/14214 Bahraich-Varanasi Intercity Express from 22 to 6 October, 09465/09466 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Clone Special Train from 27 to 30 September, 05167/05168 Ballia-Shahganj Passenger from 23 to 5 October and 05171/05172 Ballia-Shahganj Special Passenger train will remain cancelled.

Reservations for cancelled trains will be refunded Senior DCM said- In the trains which have been cancelled, the reservation tickets booked on these dates will be cancelled and the money will be refunded to the person.
