A woman from Bijnor police station area of Lucknow has made serious allegations against her husband and his friend. According to the woman, she was at her home at around 9 pm on September 21. Then her husband Radhe Rawat came home with his friend Rinku Pal. Both of them sat at home and drank alcohol. The alcohol was drunk.

Trying to mess with the honor The woman alleges that during this time Rinku tried to play with her dignity. Rinku held the woman’s hand and put his hand on her chest and pressured her to have physical relations by luring her with Rs 2 lakh and land in the village.
He grabbed the sari and pulled me and started abusing me The woman said that when she protested against this act and tried to run out of the house, Rinku grabbed her sari and abused her using casteist slurs. When she raised an alarm, Rinku and the woman’s husband fled from the spot.
Appealed to police for justice The woman has reached the police station with her father-in-law to complain about the incident and has pleaded with the police for justice. Bijnor police station in-charge Arvind Rana said that a report has been registered on the basis of the complaint and necessary legal action is being taken after investigation.
