Wrong vaccination scandal in Meerut | Wrong vaccination scandal in Meerut: Responsibility of vaccination given to novices, permission cancelled within 6 hours of complaint – Meerut News

The health department in Meerut showed a lot of negligence in the vaccination of hepatitis B. Vaccination was handed over to inexperienced hands. The health department did not even investigate the organizations that were given the responsibility of going to villages and doing vaccination. These NGOs were responsible for vaccination.

BJP leader Ankit had complained

When the local people saw irregularities in the vaccination, they protested against it. On protest, the matter reached the police and DM. Then the vaccination was investigated. So it was found that these NGOs are zero in the matter of vaccination. After the complaint, to avoid the fear of action, Meerut CMO hurriedly withdrew the vaccination work from the institutions. But by then thousands of people had been vaccinated.

Vaccination work stopped after complaint in Samadhan Diwas

BJP leader Ankit Chaudhary had complained about wrong vaccination. Ankit Chaudhary told the entire matter to DM, City Magistrate. He said that the most sensitive vaccine is Hepatitis B, C. According to WHO, it should be done very seriously. This vaccination was going on in Kharkhoda, when asked the staff, they said that this vaccine will also reduce hepatitis and cancer. No one knows who Faizan is, CHC Kharkhoda does not know anything, the vaccine was opened, the medical staff did not know anything.

The matter was raised in Samadhan Diwas

Ankit Chaudhary said that when we called the police, we came to know that the CMO had ordered the institute to do vaccination in Kharkhoda, Jani, Bhudbaral for one month from September 7. We had complained about this to the DM in the Samadhan Diwas of Sardhana. The BJP leader alleged that as soon as the complaint was made during the day, the CMO cancelled the order of these institutes in just five to six hours in the evening of the same day. If there was a government order to get the vaccine from these institutes, then why was it cancelled in the evening. He said that after getting the vaccine in Kharkhoda, the health of a twelve-year-old child and an elderly woman deteriorated. If something happens to them, who will take responsibility? After all, on whose order was this vaccination done by the wrong NGO?

CMO said that blacklisted companies remain on the portal

If the cold chain is not maintained, the vaccine administered will not cause any harm but the vaccine will not be effective. We cannot give any such tender for vaccination to the wrong NGO. The CMO further said that blacklisted companies remain on the portal. After the complaint, when we investigated those institutions, they turned out to be untrained. We cancelled their permission on 21 September itself.

The government gave permission When the media talked to the CMO about the said video, he said that I get very little time and do not have time to watch the video. He said that there is already a letter from DG Health dated 2023 in which the institutions have to do vaccination under no profit no loss. The government gave permission to these institutions on fulfilling the conditions. In which vaccination is to be done in Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Lakhimpur Kheri, Baghpat, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Rampur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Fatehpur.

Vaccines are given for 100 rupees and 10 rupees The CMO further said that for vaccination, NGOs Aarav Jan Kalyan Samiti, Bhaskar Education Samiti Muzaffarnagar and Jan Swasthya Kalyan Samiti Geetapalli Alambagh Lucknow were selected. They were allotted different blocks. After investigation, the work of all the NGOs has been cancelled. These organizations vaccinate against typhoid for Rs 100 and Hepatitis B for Rs 10. This vaccination work has been going on for the last one month. These camps are being run assembly wise in all the seven assembly constituencies.

I’ll see about filing a case later When the DM asked the CMO about the whole matter, he said that this is all politics. They want to show their leadership. The CMO said about the NGO accused of wrong vaccination that their order has been cancelled. I have warned them. If they do not obey, I will file a case against them.
