A young man who had gone to graze buffaloes on the river bank in Jalaun drowned after slipping. Due to which he was swept away in the strong current of the river. Due to which the young man died by drowning. Seeing this incident, the nearby shepherds informed the police. On receiving the information of the incident, the police and divers reached the spot and rescued the young man.

The incident took place on the ford of Nun river which originates from Sikri Rahmanpur village under Churkhi police station area. It was told that 37-year-old Munna had been living at the house of former village head Satnam Singh of Sikri Rahmanpur for many years for domestic work. Like every day, he had gone to the fields on Tuesday morning to graze the buffaloes of the former village head. While he was taking the buffalo out from the edge of the ford built on Nun river, his foot slipped. Due to which he drowned in the deep water.
The villagers who were grazing their animals in the nearby fields tried to save him after seeing him drowning. But by then he got drowned in the strong current and deep water of the river. Then the villagers informed the village head Ravindra Singh Chauhan about this. They also informed the police. On receiving the information, the Churkhi police station reached the spot. They searched for the youth with the help of divers. After a lot of hard work, the divers were able to find Munna’s body. The police took all the information in their custody and sent it for postmortem after investigation.
