Sachitanand Chaudhary of Ghughli police station area of Maharajganj has filed a case against Ram Jatan in the court for cheating, assault, abuse and death threats. On the court’s order, the police have registered a case against Ram Jatan and started investigation.

Sachitanand Chaudhary, who is a teacher by profession, told that he needed land to build a house. During this time he met Ram Jatan, who gave him land for Rs 12 lakh 20 thousand. When Chaudhary got the land measured, he found that the width was less. After this, Ram Jatan told him that if he gave Rs 7 lakh 40 thousand more, he would give three decimals more land. Chaudhary transferred the amount on 19 September 2023, but after this Ram Jatan started procrastinating in writing the land.
Police busy investigating the matter
When Chaudhary went to Ram Jatan’s house on 13 June 2024 and tried to demand his rights, Ram Jatan became furious and started abusing and was ready to beat him. When the police did not take any action, Chaudhary approached the court. On the orders of the court, Ghughli police have registered a case against Ram Jatan.
Police station incharge Ramcharan Saroj said that action is being taken as per the court’s order. Police has now started investigating the case.
