The Markandeya Purana suggests reciting the Argala Stotram of Goddess Durga Saptashati after the Devi Kavach. It is believed that simply reading or listening to the Argala Stotram, can help remove all obstacles and will grant you success. As per religious beliefs, reciting the Argala Stotram during Navratri is believed to be fruitful. As per the scriptures, a person should always follow the truth and show the path to others. As per the Vedas and Puranas, Goddess Durga has the power to provide a solution to any problem.

In an interview with Local 18, renowned astrologer Pandit Shridhar Shastri from Haridwar explained that reciting the Argala Stotram during the nine auspicious days of Navratri will benefit one. He believes that the Argala Stotram should be recited daily. He further added that during Navratri, Goddess Durga is believed to descend to Earth and bless her devotees. He advised devotees that before they recite the Argala Stotram, they must light a lamp with cow’s ghee, mustard or sesame oil and in their mind they should keep thinking about the Goddess and declare their intention to perform the recitation.

It is important to recite the Argala Stotram without any errors and with utmost devotion. This will please the Goddess and she will help in removing all the obstacles and all the devotees’ desires will be fulfilled.

“Om Asya Shri Argala Stotra Mantrasya Vishnu Rishi, Anushtup Chhandah, Shri Mahalakshmirdevta, Shri Jagadamba Preetaye Saptashatipathangatven Jape Viniyoga ॥

Om Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini.
