The DM directed to conduct health check-up of drivers of school vehicles and to provide them driving training. The police and transport department were asked to take action by conducting intensive checking of illegally operated vehicles. The DM directed to provide motor accident compensation under the Solacean Scheme to the families affected by hit-and-run.
The electricity department was ordered to take action against illegal charging points and convert domestic connections to commercial ones. Sugarcane and transport department officials were directed to install reflectors on tractor-trolleys carrying sugarcane to reduce accidents caused by fog and mist.
