Matt Leblanc was spotted in Los Angeles, but his appearance is raising concerns among Friends cast members, who are worried about his well-being.
It’s hard to believe that it has been 30 years since Friends first aired our TV screens, bringing joy to millions with its iconic characters played by Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc. However, the tragic passing away of Matthew in 2023 has deeply affected his former co-stars, especially Matt, who has rarely appeared in public. However, recently, he was spotted in Los Angeles, but his messy appearance has been raising concerns among friends and colleagues who are worried about his well-being. As per sources, his close friends believe that he has lost his spark and no longer feels worthy of their company, but they hope to bring him back.
Speaking with Intouch Weekly, the insider shared, “Nobody’s body shaming Matt or accusing him of anything untoward lifestyle, that’s not what’s going on here. What’s concerning though, for Jen [Aniston] and all the Central Perk crew, is that he’s such a recluse these days and they barely hear from him from one month to the next. He’s been in touch since the tragic passing of Matthew Perry, but aside from that, he’s just hunkered down and doing his own thing without any real interest in socialising. That’s just plain sad for everyone to see.”
The source added that Matt LeBlanc was once a happy and lively person, but now he struggles to be around with his friends. It’s clear that his self-esteem has taken a hit and his appearance shows that he hasn’t been taking care of himself. Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox all want to help him reconnect with them and bring back his smile. They understand, especially after the recent loss, how important and fragile life can be.
After Matthew Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home, Matt LeBlanc was the first cast member from Friends to pay tribute to his best friend. Sharing a series of photos from the show, the actor wrote, “It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Friends, a game show called Fast Friends was announced, as per Variety. The upcoming show will be filmed at The Friends Experience in New York. Meanwhile, the die-hard fans will have the chance to flaunt their knowledge through various questions, puzzles and fun challenges.
