SP national spokesperson gets bail: Had protested against burning CM’s effigy and agricultural law, paid 20-20 thousand fine – Sultanpur News
SP national spokesperson and former MLA Anoop Sanda got bail from the MP/MLA court of Sultanpur on Wednesday. He was accused of trying to burn the effigy of the CM in protest against the new agricultural law. The police had accused him of gathering a crowd without permission during the Corona period.

The case happened in December 2022
Accompanied by advocate Kamlesh Singh, the former MLA surrendered before Special Magistrate Shubham Verma and pleaded for bail. He was released on furnishing two bail bonds and a bond of Rs 20,000. Special Public Prosecutor Vaibhav Pandey said that Inspector Kamlesh Yadav had lodged an FIR in Kotwali Nagar on 8 December 2022.
According to this, a day before, at 4 pm, many youths wearing SP caps and party workers had gathered to burn the effigy of the Chief Minister. They were also raising slogans calling the government useless by expressing opposition to the Farmers’ Ordinance.
There was a case on all these
They were explained that during the Corona period, they were neither wearing masks nor following social distancing. The police did not arrest anyone. But 14 people were made accused. After investigation, a charge sheet was filed against 10 people. These include Shahzad, Moeed Ahmed, Rahul Upadhyay, Salahuddin, Anoop Sanda, Gufran, Vinod Jaiswal, Jamiruddin, Dharmendra alias Raju Chaudhary and Manoj Agarwal.
