The administration is not calling for meetings related to public concern | The administration is not calling for meetings related to public concern: SP MP’s pain spilled in Lucknow Divisional Commissioner’s meeting, accused the officers – Lakhimpur-Kheri News

MP and SP leader Utkarsh Verma from Kheri Lok Sabha seat of Lakhimpur district has made a big allegation against the administration. He said that he is not called in the meetings related to public concern. The officers are also being biased. Utkarsh said that there was a flood in the district last Monday.

The MP says that this is not the first time this has happened, even before this there have been many meetings related to public concerns in which I was not invited. The public has also elected us and sent us to the Lok Sabha. Therefore, it is our responsibility to raise their problems before the government administration and get them resolved.

The government had also allocated funds to the district to deal with floods and I had also raised this issue in the Lok Sabha and got 44 crores 16 lakh rupees sanctioned. Which has also been received, but the money received for flood relief is being distributed among the people. There is partiality in giving compensation to the victims. This is the reason why we are not called. Nor is any information given, this will expose them. I just want to say that if we are not called in public interest meetings, then how will the public’s problems be resolved, how will we be able to raise their issues.
