There was a stir in the area after the body of a young man was found in the canal located in Burra of Jasrathpur police station area of Etah. Police have identified the body as Karu, a resident of Ikoria village of Nayagaon police station area. The young man had left home two days ago. He was missing since then.

Police reached the spot on the information of villagers and took out the body from the canal. They informed the family members, which created panic among them. The family members immediately reached the spot and identified the body. Karu’s nephew Vikas told that his uncle had left the house on Monday. Even after searching a lot, he was not found.
Jasrathpur police station in-charge Omprakash said that the deceased was a mental patient. The police have sent the body for postmortem. Further action will be taken after the report comes.
