A young girl, Suman (a fictitious name) from Bahai Chowki under Lalganj Kotwali police station area of Raebareli tried to commit suicide after a domestic dispute. Suman had come to the railway track to commit suicide after a quarrel with her mother.

On receiving information about the incident, policemen posted at Bahai Chowki, Diwan Rajkumar and constable Ajay Kumar, reached the spot on time. They wisely removed the girl from the railway track and saved her life. Police said that the girl was walking on the track when she saw the train engine coming near Thakura village. Then the police immediately intervened and took her to a safe place.
During interrogation, the girl said that she was going to commit suicide because she was scolded by her mother. The police called the girl’s family and handed her over to them.
