There were two more reasons related to Sreesanth in this match. First, during an IPL match in 2009, there was a dispute between Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth in which Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth. After this, there was a lot of uproar. Both of them played together for the first time in this test match in Kanpur. Every time Sreesanth took a wicket, Harbhajan celebrated that moment.

On 9 May 2013, Sreesanth did fixing in an IPL match. After this match, Sreesanth’s career almost ended. He was banned for life from Team India. Sreesanth filed a petition against this in the Supreme Court.

In 2019, the court asked the BCCI to reduce his ban. On the court’s request, the BCCI removed the lifetime ban on Sreesanth and made it a ban of 7 years. This was completed in 2020. However, Sreesanth could not play any match for Team India.

South Africa has also won the same number of matches. If India defeats Bangladesh here, it will go ahead of South Africa. Ahead of it will be West Indies with 183 wins, England with 397 wins and Australia with 414 wins.

In this match in Kanpur, the pitch will be seen helping the batsmen for the first two days but after that the pitch will start breaking and then the spinners will get help. In the last match, Ashwin and Jadeja defeated Bangladesh first on the basis of batting and then bowling. This pair can be effective here this time too.
