A case has been registered against IFS officer Niharika Singh and her husband Ajit Gupta at Gomti Nagar police station in the capital Lucknow for cheating a female doctor of Rs 1.41 crore. This case has been registered after the court order. Both of them are accused of cheating in the name of investment in Any Bullion Company.

He is a resident of Tal Dholi village of Milkipur assembly constituency of Ayodhya. Ajit Gupta, who belonged to an ordinary family, was ambitious from the beginning. Ajit was preparing for civil services in Delhi. During that time he met Niharika Singh. Niharika was also preparing. Ajit Gupta could not become IAS, but Niharika Singh became IFS. Later both of them got married.

In 2010, Ajit Gupta opened a company named Ani Bullion. It started from Kumarganj in Ayodhya. Gradually it expanded its business and its offices were opened in various big cities of the state and money of big officials, employees and farmers was invested in bullion.
