The Central National Health Mission (NHM) team inspected Lokbandhu Hospital on Friday. The team from Delhi inspected the hospital premises including the lab.

During this time, along with increasing the manpower in the hospital, instructions were given to increase and decorate the children’s entertainment items in the Pediatrics Department. Apart from Lokbandhu, the team also inspected many PHCs, CHCs and TB hospitals of Lucknow and took stock of the facilities for the patients.
Central NHM Additional Secretary, Government of India, Aradhana Patnaik reached Lucknow on Friday. Along with him, Mission Director of NHM Dr. Pinky Jowal, CMO Dr. Manoj Aggarwal and other officers of the Health Department were present. The team reached Lokbandhu Rajnarayan Joint Hospital in the morning. Where hospital director Dr. Suresh Kaushal, CMS Dr. Rajeev Dixit, MS Dr. Ajay Shankar Tripathi welcomed the team. The team inspected the lab, ICU, labour, OT, blood bank, pedia department etc. in detail. Appreciated the cleanliness system in the hospital premises. It was also suggested that cartoons and other necessary facilities for children should be arranged in the ward and gallery of the Pediatrics Department. Also gave instructions to increase manpower in the departments running in the hospital. Apart from Lokbandhu, the team inspected Chhitvapur Arogya Mandir, Parvar West, CHC Sarojini Nagar.
