In Lucknow, a case of physical exploitation and financial fraud for two and a half years by luring a widow woman into love through social media has come to light. The accused extorted four and a half lakh rupees from the woman on the pretext of marriage and later tried to blackmail her by taking her objectionable photographs.

Friendship started from social media, physical exploitation on the pretext of marriage
Mansi (fictitious name), resident of LDA Colony, told that some time ago she had met a person named Ajit Kumar Dwivedi through social media. After their friendship, they had a love affair, after which Ajit physically exploited her for about two and a half years on the pretext of marriage. During this period, Ajit also took lakhs of rupees from Mansi several times on the pretext of need.
The accused blackmailed even after getting the money back
When Ajit started refusing to marry, the victim ended all relations with him and demanded her money back. On the complaint of the victim, Ajit’s father returned Rs 4.5 lakh. After this the victim broke all contact with Ajit.
Attempt to threaten and defame through obscene photos
Despite this, Ajit did not stop stalking the victim. Once again, by luring her into smooth talk, he had physical relations with the victim and took objectionable photographs of her. When the victim talked about marriage, Ajit threatened to make the obscene photo viral. After this, the victim complained to the ACP, on which Krishnanagar police registered a report and started investigation.
