The Prabhu Narayan Club or PNU Club embezzlement case will be heard again in the court of Varanasi District and Sessions Court. The court of Additional District Judge (ninth) Vinod Kumar issued the order after hearing the case again on Friday.

The judge ordered the presentation of evidence related to embezzlement apart from the police report in the case and re-examination of all aspects. Along with this, the order of the lower court in the case of irregularities committed by the accused three former officials was cancelled.
In the case, the plaintiff had challenged the lower court order in the Sessions Court, after which, taking the arguments seriously, the hearing on financial irregularities was declared justified.
According to the prosecution, in 2015-16, plaintiff Mangal Soni had presented a petition in the Allahabad High Court on financial irregularities committed by the then office-bearers of Prabhu Narayan Club.
The investigation was conducted on the orders of the High Court. Prima facie the investigation found irregularities and a case was registered in the Cantt police station in the year 2017. After this the police submitted the final report in the investigation.
In this case, the police gave a clean chit to everyone in the investigation and sent the final report to the court. The lower court had also approved this. Which was challenged by the plaintiff in the sessions court.
