A case of rape by hiding religious identity has come to light in Dashashwamedh police station of Varanasi. The victim’s mother alleges that when her daughter became pregnant after the rape, the boy pressured her to accept Islam. If he does not do so, abuse him physically and mentally.

On the basis of this complaint, the police have registered a case against Mahmoorganj Sahil Khan under various sections including rape and have taken him into custody and started interrogation.

Here he met a young man Sahil Khan. He told his name as Kaushal Mishra. After this their friendship blossomed. Meanwhile, one day Sahil mixed intoxicants in cold drink and raped his daughter. According to the victim’s mother, during this time he also made videos and photos.
When she became pregnant, the young man’s secret was revealed In the complaint, the victim’s mother has further written – Meanwhile, my daughter became pregnant but she did not realize it. After three months, when she started having problems and we got her checked, she was pregnant. The doctor said that abortion cannot be done otherwise the girl will die. In such a situation, when the daughter asked the boy for marriage, he said – we will marry only if you accept the Muslim religion. After this they started harassing.
Kept on physically and mentally exploiting people by showing videos and photos He further said that when the youth refused to accept Islam, he started physical and mental abuse. My husband died of cancer in the year 2023. After that my daughter went to Mumbai for admission in acting classes. On this, Sahil is now pressurizing my daughter to come back by threatening to kill me and my son. That’s why I have filed a complaint so that he can be punished.
Police detained, interrogating In this regard, Dashashwamedh police station incharge said – On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered under relevant sections and Sahil Khan, resident of Birdopur, Mahmoorganj of Bhelupur police station area, has been taken into custody. He is being interrogated. Advance action is being taken on the basis of inquiry and investigation.
