The two-day Bhojpuri festival going on in Azamgarh district ended late on Friday night. The festival was inaugurated on Thursday by Varanasi Zone ADG Piyush Mordia and former BJP MP Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua. sometime during the British rule

Earlier, as the chief guest, Varanasi Zone ADG Piyush Mordia, Sarita Budhu, wife of former Prime Minister of Mauritius, former MP, Bhojpuri film star Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua and many others presented their views in the initial session. The importance of sweetness and culture of Bhojpuri was highlighted.
Bhojpuri’s stature is continuously increasing
Today, Bhojpuri is spoken in other areas including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and many other countries including Trinidad Tobago, Suriname, Mauritius, Fiji and other countries where the growing stature of Bhojpuri has been highlighted. During the program, everyone was enthralled with their first performance by the children of the Music College, Hariharpur, Azamgarh. Let us tell you that Hariharpur Gharana is very famous for its songs and music and it was launched only a few months ago. A large number of guests were present on this occasion.
