Bombing took place in Chinhat area of Lucknow due to old rivalry between BBD students. A student’s stomach and hands were hit by bomb fragments. The injured student is undergoing treatment at Lohia Hospital. On information, heavy police force including ASP Radha Raman Singh reached the spot and controlled the situation.

Let us tell you that Rudraksh Mishra, a resident of Gorakhpur, had rented a room in Vikalp Khand-3 Pasi Tola area of Chinhat. Rudraksh Babu is a student at Banarasi Das University. Saturday night at 10:30, boys from another group attacked Rudraksh due to old rivalry. Pulled Rudraksh from his room and brought him some distance away.
During this time someone hit three country-made bombs one by one. Due to the bomb blast, there was smoke in the area and there was an atmosphere of chaos. Everyone started running. Rudraksh fell there. In the incident, Rudraksh was hit by shrapnel on his face, stomach and hand.
ACP Vibhuti Khand Radha Raman Singh said that there was a ruckus between the two parties due to old enmity. The injured boy had already shifted to Pasi Tola. The injured student has been admitted to Lohia for treatment. The accused will be searched with the help of CCTV footage installed in the area. At present there is no named accused yet.
