Rapti river in Siddharthnagar flooded thrice this year, where farmers’ crops were damaged. While cutting through the flow of Rapti river, the river has destroyed the revenue village Ramwapur Kohalchak alias Badhara village and village of Gram Panchayat Ramwapur alias Nebua of Bhanwapur block area.

The main road will not be allowed to be cut under any circumstances.

BDO Bhanwapur Alok Upadhyay inspected the ongoing rescue work. BDO Alok Upadhyay greatly appreciated the cooperation received from the villagers in stopping the erosion. He said that all arrangements have been made to stop the erosion.

During this, a large number of villagers including Jai Prakash, local accountant Anil Mishra, KC Yadav, head representative Shivpujan Chaudhary, Kasim, Haider, Raju Yadav, Mahant Mishra, Mithun Chaurasia, Brijmohan, Pankaj etc. were present.
