In the men’s category, Kanpur division won the singles and doubles matches and won the title. In the women’s category, Prayagraj team performed better and won in singles and doubles. After which the winning teams were honored with prizes.

Sports officials also honored the guests with mementos.

The final matches were played in the state level competition on Saturday. RAF Commandant Vinod Kumar was present as the chief guest and honored the winners with prizes. Along with this, he inspired the players to continuously move forward and bring glory to the country.

The final match of the women’s category was first played in the competition on Saturday. In which Srishti Jaiswal Prayagraj won the title of champion by defeating Alina Mishra Lucknow 11-5, 16-18, 6-11, 11-7, 11-9. In the women’s doubles final, the pair of Srishti-Vishakha Prayagraj won the title by defeating Saloni-Elina Lucknow 11-5, 11-5, 11-9.

Kanpur and Prayagraj won in men’s category

After the women’s category matches, the Kanpur category matches were held. In which Satyam Giri Gupta of Kanpur became the champion by defeating Avi Pal of Prayagraj 11-7, 11-3, 11-5. In men’s doubles, the pair of Satyam Giri-Subrata Raj Kanpur won the title by defeating Avi Pal-Aryan Prayagraj 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 11-3.

During the closing ceremony, Regional Sports Officer Anil Kumar, Departmental Officer Dhirendra Kumar Purushottam, Ashwani Kumar Tyagi, Aruna, Vikas Chauhan, Sarvesh, Shankar Babu, Ram Milan etc. were present along with the guests.
