After the death of Vandana Rai in Jhansi, the family reached the medical college for post-mortem.
A woman died due to electrocution in Jhansi. She was driving a water motor when she got electrocuted. The husband alleges that electric shock was applied to the motor as part of a conspiracy. The whole matter is of Talaiya locality of Kotwali police station area. The police took the dead body into their possession and filled the Panchnama and posted it.

When the son came back from playing, the mother was unconscious.
The name of the deceased was Vandana Rai (40), wife of Shailendra Rai. She was a resident of Talaiya locality. Husband Shailendra told that he runs a tea shop in Subhashganj. Wife Vandana was at home on Saturday. The 10-year-old daughter Purvi had gone for tuition, while the 6-year-old son was playing near the holy house.
In the evening, when he came home after playing, Vandana was lying unconscious near the water motor. He ran to the house of a relative living in the neighborhood and called him. The family took her to the district hospital, where Vandana was declared dead.
Accusation of murder in house dispute
Husband Shailendra Rai says that two people have a share in our house. The other party wants to sell the house, but we were not ready. Due to this they started having a rivalry. They had even threatened to kill. It is alleged that the same people spread electric current in the water motor. When the wife came to drive the car, she died due to electric shock. We want action to be taken against the culprits. The police is investigating the entire matter.
