When Indian captain Rohit Sharma was asked about his retirement in a video of YouTube’s FITTR channel, he said,
No, I am not thinking of retirement from international cricket and the reason behind taking retirement from T20 cricket was that I had completed my time in that format. I enjoyed playing in this T20, I won the T20 World Cup in 2024 and it was the best time to move forward because there are many young players who can perform well in the Indian team.

Jadeja had announced his retirement from T20 International cricket by sharing a post on social media. Currently, these three players are playing in the Test series being played with Bangladesh.
